PRIVACY
Your trip stays on your phone.
Demigod's Guide is built without accounts, ad networks, or analytics services. There is no server-side database where your data sits. This page lays out exactly what gets stored, where, and why.
What gets stored, and where
- On your device only: the home base you pick, the destinations you star, the order you put them in, and the god you choose. All of this lives in your browser's local storage — never sent to us.
- Map tiles: when you view the map, your browser fetches map tiles from OpenStreetMap. We do not see those requests.
- Email signups: if you give us your email address to be notified at launch or to receive occasional updates, we send it to Buttondown on your behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
What we do not collect
- No analytics — we do not know which pages you visit or how long you stay.
- No tracking pixels or third-party advertising scripts.
- No IP-address logging beyond what Cloudflare collects to serve the site.
- No accounts, so nothing tied to a username or login.
Wiping your data
Every device-stored value can be cleared from inside the app, in Settings. Beyond that, clearing your browser's site data for demigodsguide.app removes everything.
Children
The guide is designed with a young reader in mind. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because there are no accounts and no analytics, the only data path that exists is the optional email signup — and that is explicitly an adult action.
